Doug Steinman is a visual storyteller who is passionate about creating content and sharing tales of the human experience.

Doug is currently a graduate student at the S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University where he is pursuing his Masters degree in Multimedia, Photography & Design. Doug is a Graduate teaching assistant at Syracuse, and he is also currently the Visual Lead Producer of The NewsHouse (the award-winning student-run publication out of the Newhouse School). Doug is also a Staff Photographer for The Daily Orange, and is also a member of the Syracuse chapter of the National Press Photographer’s Association (NPPA).

Doug earned his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Media & Film from Towson University focusing in video production and cinematography. During his undergraduate studies, Doug was the Secretary of the student organization Media And Diversity Engagement (M.A.D.E) as well as President of Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Jewish Fraternity. He also helped organize the Women and Minorities in Media Film Festival (WAMM Fest) where he served as the judge for the category of comedy submissions.
